| During her 30+ years in the real estate industry,
Karen Duff has always followed the platinum rule – “Do
unto others as they want done unto”.
This high standard has given her a well-respected name both with her clients
and Realtors across Canada. Her name has become synonymous with
integrity, dependability, caring and professionalism.
She believes that her clients expect and deserve the very best
representation available whether they are listing a property or
buying one as a primary residence or investment.
"I never want a client to be nervous due to a lack of
knowledge of the real estate market and the buying or selling process.
I feel my job as a Realtor is to give my clients enough information
to make good decisions. In order for me to have all that information,
I have to listen carefully to what my clients wish to achieve, be
on the cutting edge of the market and to do everything possible
to make their goals come true.”
Karen
feels comfortable working with clients from “condos
to castles”. They can expect the very best and
she guarantees her work.
“Do what you do so well that people will tell others about
it and want to see you do it again!

On a personal note Karen is happily married to the love of her
life, Patrick and they feel blessed to have their two children and
their families also living in Victoria. They are a close family
and Karen and Patrick believe that their two grandchildren are the
best! (as all grandparents believe!)
Karen was invested into the Order of St. John Ambulance as a Serving
Sister. This honour was bestowed upon her in recognition for establishing
the successful St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program in Victoria.
She enjoyed visiting with her dog Cleo, a Harlequin Great Dane at
senior long-term care facilities. Since Cleo’s death, she
has been replaced by 2 other beautiful Great Danes, Tobias (#1 Great
Dane in Western Canada in 2005/06, International Champion, BIS and
BISS) and Yolanda who is about to debut in the show ring. However,
neither appear to be suitable for therapy work. It takes a very
special dog to have the patience to be loved by so many people in
the space of an hour every week.
They have been in the Victoria area since 1994 after coming back
home to BC to be with their family from Ontario where Karen was
the Vice-President of Century 21 Real Estate Canada.
